Re: Budabot 3.0 Alts not recognized

Re: Budabot 3.0 Alts not recognized

Its simple, one bot can not ;) But ofc, there is a way. - First of all u need Java installed on your host system. - Then you download aochatproxy from https://code.google.com/p/budabot2/downloads/list - After that extract the archive - Edit the containing chatbot.properties file like this: proxyPort...

Re: ERROR APIController - Address already in use (0)

Update: commented the api port number out, threw a different error to console. Complaining about using a port 1-65535. Unset variables are interpreted as NULL, which is as integer interpreted the number 0, that's why you get this message. Do you use the same installation for all bots? Even tho the ...

Re: ERROR APIController - Address already in use (0)

Hm, yeah really sounds like the SQLite dead lock, didn't think of it back then. I never touched the AP_MODULE & HTTPAPI_MODULE yet. I once checked out the botmanager (you ment that by the GUI thingy right?), but since my bots are running on terminal only linux distros im not really using it. Fro...

Re: ERROR APIController - Address already in use (0)

The API module is listening on a specific port which is defined in the config file. // API module configuration $vars['API Port'] = 5250; Listening on a port means that it acts as a server for what ever. So the first bot uses that port, once the next bot tries to open that port for listening realize...

Re: RULES_MODULE - is there any interest?

I created 2 more branches in the repository. Those don't contain the install script, since I was mainly creating them just for another thingy. nightly = version that works with the budabot nightly build (currently thats v3.1_RC1) stable = version that works with the latest stable buld (currently tha...

Re: Grouping

Besides that i by mistake deleted ~10hrs of work: My scripts will be quite different ;p First of all the "system install" script, which will first of all checks if all needed stuff to run budabot is installed, if not it will do it (with confirmation ofc), then it will create a group "...

Re: Grouping

Guess I found a quite nice way to do it with a sym link skeleton.

Once I wrote all scripts (installing of the system, initializing the skeleton, inizializing proxies, boot script and back up script), I'll post all of them here.

Maybe some people are interested into that :D
