Re: budabot 3.5 isnt working for me

I don't think I ever publicized this because it was mostly for my benefit, but in the win32 folder there is a file called version.txt that indicates exactly which PHP binary I am using for Windows. In theory it should be possible to use this page (http://windows.php.net/download#php-5.6) to decide w...

Re: budabot 3.5 isnt working for me

Perhaps it's because I updated PHP versions between 3.0 and 3.5. I was thinking about upgrading PHP versions again from 5.6 to 7, but if it causes all this trouble, maybe I won't. Maybe it's possible that I could include the relevant MSVC+ DLLs with Budabot, but I kinda doubt their license will allo...

Re: Budabot3.4_GA: cachefolder settings

I have a fix for this already. You can download 3.5_RC1 now if you need the fix now, or wait until 3.5_GA. Just in case you are curious, this is what the fix took: https://github.com/Budabot/Budabot/commit/777107fc427cdf3101005aff952bee9f9d22db99 Basically, the init() method was not being called bec...

Re: Issue with 3.5 RC 1

Kista, after going back to the previous version, you don't get the error anymore on Windows 8.1, correct?

Re: Issue with 3.5 RC 1

I'm starting to think that Eli might be right and that the new windows console might be what's causing the issue. Can anyone try his suggestion and let me know if it fixes the problem? Try checking "Use legacy console" and then restart the bot, and then make sure it's still checked. If tha...

Re: Issue with 3.5 RC 1

I believe that this is only an issue in 3.5_RC1 and not the previous versions but I appreciate the info. I will check that when I have a chance to make sure.

My first fix didn't fix it. So I'm going to try something else.

Re: [REQUEST] Welcome Module!

So you'll want to make a folder for your module, maybe WELCOME_MODULE or similar. Then inside you'll have one or more controllers. So in this case I might call it WelcomeController.php . Here is an example. I prefixed my commentary with triple slashes (///). One common gotcha is that you must use th...

Re: Issue with 3.5 RC 1

I was able to reproduce this. And I have an idea of what it might be. I'm going to test some things and see if I can get it fixed.
