Re: [Breaking] Changes for Budabot 4

Budabot 4 uses the JSON representation of the PoRK data for both individual characters and org rosters, which includes several fields that the XML version does not. Specifically, character_id, head_id, and legacy pvp_title and pvp_rating fields. The legacy pvp rating system was deprecated quite a wh...

Re: [Breaking] Changes for Budabot 4

One of the ongoing changes for Budabot 4 is changing from snake-case (get_tower_info) to camel-case (getTowerInfo). These changes have been happening for the past few released of Budabot. All of the core modules and classes should now be using method names in camel-case. Budabot 4 will push this cha...

[Breaking] Changes for Budabot 4

Budabot is a huge project, relatively speaking. It weighs in at ~34K lines of PHP code alone, in addition to the 117K lines of SQL (see: https://www.openhub.net/p/budabot2/analyses/latest/languages_summary). Because of its size, it makes development cumbersome. For those who have used Budabot for th...

Module Name Format change

Ever since I can remember, Budabot has used a particular convention for module names: the module name was in all capital letters, words were separated by underscores, and the module name ended with "_MODULE". Example: PRIVATE_CHANNEL_MODULE There may have been value in this approach at one...

Re: AOChatProxy 2.0 Exception

Thanks for posting the error, that is very helpful. Did you notice a message in your client around this same time? It would have been a System Message.

Re: APF 13 loot

OK, I updated the SQL and replaced 'Intrusion Countermeasure Electronics Upgrade' with 'Hacker ICE-Breaker Source'. I didn't change the multiloot value because if it's a different number each time, then the multiloot value doesn't help much.

Re: Application module

<pagebreak> doesn't force a hard break. It just says "if you need to break the page, this is where I prefer you do it". So you can add lots of <pagebreak> tags to your output, and it will paginate on the one that is closest to where it needs to break the blob at. And then it removes them f...

Re: Application module

So I saw someone using this module and I noticed a couple things that you might want to change: You should use the <pagebreak> tag when generating output that will go in a blob. This helps the paginator know where there is a good place to break a blob up. The second thing is that sometimes you are u...
