Re: Question: How to send a tell

Messages sent to public channels are not logged when they are sent, because the server will send a message back when they are received and that is when they are logged. However, messages from shopping, OOC, and a few others are ignored by default. You can edit $channelsToIgnore on line 70 in ./core/...

Re: AOChatProxy Problem

As far as your edit goes, the start index removes the "~&" from the beginning of the string and the end index removes the "~" at the end. So I think it's correct how it is: //before: "~&teststring~" parseMessage = parseMessage.substring(2, parseMessage.length() ...

Re: Question: How to send a tell

This should work for sending to public channels:

Code: Select all

Re: AOChatProxy Problem

So yeah, they added a new message, but they never added it to the text.mdb file so when it comes across it can't find it in the text.mdb file and crashes. Re: AOChat crashes...

If you download the tyrlib.zip file from here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1222#p4925 and unzip the jar inside and use it to replace the version in the aochat proxy, what happens?

Re: Show news on login

If you do !config NEWS_MODULE there should be an event that you can enable that will show the current news to org members as they logon.
